First solid food, avocado!

Thought we'd try something other than the standard rice cereal as a first food. We read this was a good starter food. Kate was a good sport, but definitely had the gag reflex and wrinkled face. She's been grabbing food off of our plates and opening her mouth, so we took this as a sign she might be ready for solids. I think she was more interested in the concept of eating like mommy and daddy. :) Since then she's also tried a taste of orange, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, and apple sauce. She's just about 5 1/2 months here.
